I don't particularly care for this Genre of books due to the violence in it, but once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. The book tells the life of Logan through his own eyes. All the battles he dealt with as a child and throughout his life. It has been different in the aspect that you are reading it as if you are the person. I never knew which way the character would turn, making the suspense that much greater! It left you wanting to read more!

I must admit the writing was so good the book really got under my skin.
The thinking behind the book is quite scary and you really feel Fonda knows the thinking of a serial killer. You really feel the killer is a real person and you are taking a look at the thinking behind every action. I have never read another book that gets so much into the thinking of a killer. You really feel like you are getting to know everything and why. This is the sort of book that can really scare you if you think too much. The writing is amazing and gets you thinking all the time. For the first in the series it really sets you up for other books. I was unsure of the ending but you can see why it had to happen for the series to continue. If you want a book that can scare you with the thoughts running through your head then give the book a try.
